Darien Blue Hawks Travel Baseball
8U-12U: Tryouts will be held on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4th at either Bobby Valentine’s Sports Academy or McGuane (depending on weather) at the following times:
- 8U (NEW this year!): 2:30-4pm (birthdates 9/1/2017 to 8/31/2018)
- 9U: 9-10:30am (birthdates 9/1/2016 to 8/31/2017)
- 10U: 10:30am-12pm (birthdates 9/1/2015 to 8/31/2016)
- 11U: 12-1:30pm (birthdates 9/1/2014 to 8/31/2015)
- 12U: 1:30-2:30pm (birthdates 9/1/2013 to 8/31/2014)
This tryout will be for the 2026 spring and fall seasons. Players who only want to play one of the seasons can do so, but must still try out at this time. Travel players must also play in the house league in the spring (but not in the fall). Winter workouts begin in January with one or two days of hitting, one day of pitching and one day of fielding. 13U and 14U: Tryouts will be on Monday, October 27 from 3:30-5pm at Holahan Field.
The season runs from January through late July. In January through March, expect two indoor batting practice sessions and one indoor session each week. From March 15 to June 1st, players will have three practices and two to three games a week, along with one or two tournaments. In the summer from June 1 to July 20, players have two to three practices and three to four games per week, with one or two tournaments. If you have questions, reach out to John Miceli.

Clubhouse Baseball
Located in Fairfield, this club baseball team always has many Darien players. Evaluations for the spring and summer teams will be held Thursday October 16 through Saturday, October 25.
- 9U-10U: Thursday, Oct. 16, 4:30pm-6:30pm at Field of Dreams, 515 Morehouse Rd, Easton, CT
- 11U-12U: Thursday, Oct. 23, 4:30pm-6:30pm at Field of Dreams, 515 Morehouse Rd, Easton, CT
- 13U-14U: Saturday, Oct. 25, 1:30-3:30pm at Kiwanis Field, Old Dam Rd, Fairfield, CT
- 15U+: Saturday, Oct. 25, 3:30-5:30pm at Kiwanis Field, Old Dam Rd, Fairfield, CT

Tucci Elite Baseball
This Norwalk club organization has many Darien players and fields teams for 8U-18U. During the season, teams will have practices twice a week with tournaments and games on the weekends. Tryouts will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Weston Middle School (135 School Road, Weston).
- 8U-12U: 12pm-2pm
- 13U-18U: 2pm-4pm
