Youth Soccer Referees
Do you have a 7th or 8th grader who is interested in earning extra money ($25-$30 per game!)? Bonus: they’ll also develop leadership experience and get some exercise running around on the soccer fields. The Darien Soccer Association is looking for referees for the K-2 House soccer program’s Saturday games in town.
Requirements: Attend one 1.5 hour training session on Saturday, Sept. 7 or Sept. 14 from 9-10:30am or 10:30-12pm (click here to sign up); Referee uniform ($54, can be earned back in 3 games and should last 3-4 seasons); Wrist watch

Hockey House Referees
The Darien Youth Hockey Association is looking for referees Peewee/U12 or older. Members of DYHA & Ice Cats are used to referee all house games from Mighty Mites to Senior Minors. Refs earn $30 for Mighty Mites, Mite/U8 and Squirt games and $40 for Senior Minor games.

Student Baseball Umpires
Students 7th grade and older can attend a training clinic to become a paid umpire for Darien Little League. Umpires start with AAA (3rd grade) games and minor league games with a veteran partner.
