“The Connecticut Speedskating Club is pleased to offer a SPEEDSKATING ice program for skaters of all age and skill levels. Sundays Warmup 5:15-6:30 and Ice 6:30-7:50. Beginners with basic skating skills are always welcome to join one of our Learn-to-Speedskate sessions! First trial session is $25 (includes rental speedskates as available). You Must arrive by 5:15 to fit rental skates.
Coaching by Connecticut Speedskating coaches. Weekly session focus on proper skating technique, power and speed. Off ice conditioning instruction is included and takes place prior to ice session. Training benefits both short- and long track skating. Skaters are divided by age and skill levels; some rental speedskates available with advance notice.”
Program takes place at The Rinks in Shelton, CT.
