This instructional league for second graders emphasizes skills development. Coaches will pitch a 11″ “softee” softball.
“Our focal point is a league-wide practice on Saturday mornings where professional refine hitting, throwing & catching skills. Towards the end of the season, introduce pitching. Prior to mid-season, introduce simulated & real games, scores are not recorded. Teams will play 2-3 games at McGuane and/or in Rowayton towards the end of the season. Season concludes with a final Saturday league-wide event.”
Look for registration in November, with softball starting in late April. Practices are 75-minutes and typically held at 10:45am on Saturday mornings at Town Hall.
