Darien Little League: AAA League Softball

This developmental league is primarily for third and fourth graders and emphasizes skill development. Coaches will pitch at first, then players later in the season.

“Acts as a bridge between our instructional AA program and our more-competitive Minors program. A 11” “softee” softball is used.

Teams typically play two games per week with additional team practices. There is also a league-wide practice where professional instructors refine hitting, throwing, catching & pitching skills. Scores are recorded and the season concludes with a championship tournament.”

Look for registration in November, with softball starting in April. Practices usually occur on Thursday evenings with games on Tuesdays and Saturdays (afternoon).

***2025 Majors, Minors and AAA Evaluations will be held on February 2nd.
