Darien Little League: Tee Ball

“T-Ball is an instructional league to introduce kindergartners to throwing, fielding and hitting a ball and the fun of playing on a team. Before every simulated game, children will work with their coaches on these basic fundamentals.  Players hit from a batting tee.

DLL supplies a t-shirt and cap with team name plus all equipment.  Player wears own pants and sneakers or cleats and brings a baseball glove and helmet.

At this level, kindergarten girls have the opportunity to play either in the all girls Tee ball softball league, or the Tee ball baseball league.”

Tee ball is coached by parent volunteers and typically held on Saturday afternoons at various times and locations in town. The hour-long sessions include 30 minutes of drills and 30 minutes of game play.

Look for registration beginning in November. The season typically starts in mid to late April and runs through early June.
