Darien Little League: Tee Ball Softball

This instructional league for kindergartners focuses on fun and participation without scoring, while introducing the fundamentals of softball. Batters will hit a 11″ “softee” softball off a tee.

“Our focal point is a league-wide practice on Saturday mornings where professional instructors introduce & practice hitting, throwing & catching skills. Towards the end of the season, introduce simulated games. Season concludes with a final Saturday league-wide event.”

Look for registration in November, with softball starting in late April. Hour-long practices are typically held at 830am on Saturday mornings at Town Hall.
