Darien Soccer Association: K-2 House Soccer

“Our house program is a great introduction to the game of soccer for our youngest players in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. The focus is on learning the basics of the game in a fun environment. ” 

Look for registration for fall soccer in June, with the season running from September through early November. Practices are run by professional coaches, while games are coached by parent volunteers.

Typical practice schedules are 2nd grade boys on Mondays, 2nd grade girls on Tuesdays, 1st grade boys on Wednesdays, 1st grade girls on Thursdays and kindergarten boys and girls on Fridays.

“There are tentatively two time slots for practice each day, 4:00-5:00 and 5:15-6:15 for K & 1st grade and 4:00-5:15 and 5:15-6:30 for 2nd grade – if your school has an early dismissal (2:55pm), you are likely assigned to the earlier time slot at 4:00.”

Games are played on Saturday mornings and typically follow this schedule: 8:30am 1st grade girls, 9:45am 2nd grade girls, 11:00am kindergarten boys, 12:15pm 1st grade boys, 1:30pm 2nd grade boys, 2:45pm kindergarten girls.

DSA also offers a spring program from early April to mid-June. Look for spring registration in January.
