Darien Youth Lacrosse: 7th & 8th Grade Girls Travel Lacrosse

“DYLax fields six travel teams for 7th and 8th graders: 8A, 8B, 7A, 7B and two 7/8 seniors teams geared for those girls who choose to not make the same commitment as those players on the A or B team but still want to play in a fun and competitive environment. Travel team placement is based upon the 3 “A’s”:  Attitude, Aptitude and Attendance. DYLax expects that if you play on an A or B team, you will make DYL travel lacrosse your PRIORITY this spring. DYLax reserves the option to move players when deemed appropriate.  Please read the Travel Commitment Language at the end of this page. Practice (and some games) will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Players who do not attend tryouts will automatically be rostered on a 7/8 seniors team. Away games will be also be scheduled. The travel season ends in mid-June.”

Look for tryouts in early to mid-March, with registration starting in November.
