“Pee-Wee Basketball builds strong skills needed for playing basketball as well as helping develop sportsmanship and teamwork. Taught by professional coaches, the players learn basic skills using various drills, contests, and games. The programs emphasis is on having fun, while also fostering life lessons and basic understanding of fitness.

During the season each participant will be able to develop their skills in “5 on 5″ play. The hour is broken up into 30 minutes of skills and drills and 30 minutes of game play. The teams will meet on once a week on Saturdays for an hour at Holmes or Royle School. Each child will receive a team t-shirt.”

The program runs from the beginning of December to the beginning of March and official schedules are usually released in mid-November.

The hour-long Saturday sessions are at varying times from week to week, but typically fall into the following time-frames:

  • 1st grade boys: 12pm-2pm
  • 2nd grade boys: 8am-12pm
  • 1st/2nd grade girls: 8am-12pm
