The Depot’s Overstuffed Turkey Trot 5K and 1M Run is back on Friday, November 29. Get ready to run, walk, or trot on the scenic Darien High School running trail! This year’s event will feature live music, food trucks, games for kids, and more and all proceeds benefit The Depot, Darien’s Youth Center. We’ll have a school team comprised of students and families, so you can click “Join Team” when you register and select your school! Learn more and register here.
Girls Thanksgiving LAX Clinic will be held on Friday, November 29th, 12:30 – 2pm, DHS Oval. Lacrosse clinic for girls grades 3-8th (separated by grade) on Friday November 29. Clinic runs 12:30-2:00 pm at DHS Oval. Check-in starts at 12:00. $75 per player. Hosted by DHS Varsity Players. Spots limited. Bring water, equipment, and pinnie (or wear white or dark T-shirt). Youth Hockey Skate with DHS BLUE WAVE Black Friday Clinic on Friday, November 29. Come skate with the Boys Varsity Hockey team and Coach Mac Bud at SONO Ice Rink! Post-Thanksgiving Clinics w/ Buzz Olson & John O’Neill on Friday, November 29. Renowned DYHA Coaches Buzz Olson and John O’Neill lead a post-thanksgiving skills session designed to get players motivated and moving after a nice holiday break!

Prerequisites: Mite-Squirt sessions are intended for travel players. 2018 birth year players who are rostered on a full season travel team may attend pending approval from the Twin Rinks Hockey Department. Peewee-Bantam sessions are intended for travel players. Rookies Sessions are best for intermediate & house league players ages 8 & Under. More info here.

Calling all youth players looking to work on their skills in a fun-filled environment led by our Blue Wave Varsity Lacrosse Players and Captains.
