Bobby Valentine’s Sports Academy Little Sluggers: Offered in the fall and winter, this class for 4 and 5 year olds will introduce you to one of the area’s best spots for extra baseball instruction, while introducing your child to the basic skills of baseball. Be forewarned, that these popular classes fill up well in advance, so you should look a season or two ahead to book. Still can’t get a spot? Give them a call to see if you can set up a class for your child and a few friends.

Darien Little League Little Sluggers: Get your first taste of Darien’s Little League with their intro program for 4 year olds enrolled in either a preschool 4’s or pre-K program. This 6-week intro program, which has run in past years, typically meets for an hour Sunday mornings at Holmes School. Register here.

USA Squirts T-Ball: For young preschoolers with zero baseball experience, you can try a tee-ball class through Darien Parks & Rec, which usually runs in the spring and fall for 3 and 4 year olds.
