When your soccer player is ready to take his or her game to the next level, try out for Darien Soccer Association’s travel program or explore Fairfield County’s club soccer programs. Many are hosting tryouts in April and May for team play in the 2024-2025 fall and spring seasons.

Darien Travel Soccer Tryouts

Darien Soccer Association (DSA) Travel Teams: If your soccer player has been playing in DSA’s house league, trying out for their travel team is the natural progression. Travel teams (at A, B and C levels) are available for boys and girls who will be in 3rd grade next year (and sometimes 2nd grade) through middle school. For the 2024-2025 season, this includes birth years 2016 through 2010. Tryouts are being held at Royle School and MMS with one or two dates per birth year and gender from May 6-June 6. Club Soccer Tryouts

If you’re looking for an alternative to Darien’s travel teams, there are players from town who play for other clubs instead of or in addition to DSA’s program. Here are two well-liked clubs to check out.

Chelsea Piers Club Soccer Club Tryouts: Register now at Chelsea Piers for boys and girls tryouts for birth years 2017 and up from April 29-May 16.

Inter CT FC Boys and Girls Club Soccer Tryouts: Register now at interctfc.com for girls tryouts happening in Norwalk from April 29-May 17 and boys tryouts from May 6-May 9 (specific dates and times are according to birth year, 2016 and older).
